ROYAL MEDICAL was founded in 1989 mainly to provide a repair and service facility to Medical Industry. The emphasis of the business changed within the first year in which the supply of surgical sundries and small equipment became the mainstay.

The acquisition of many agencies through the years has enabled Royal Medical to grow and participate in national as well as regional tenders to the State hospitals.Royal Medical supplies to various hospitals and agencies as well as other wholesalers in South Africa. Limited exports are being done to our neighbouring countries.

Although the exchange rate has not been favourable in the last few years, Royal Medical has constantly strived for alternate products in order to bring down the cost of healthcare, so that it can be affordable to consumers at large.

In 1999, Royal Medical expanded it's business and opened up a new manufacturing plant, specializing in the local manufacture of high quality hospital furniture.

 Royal Medical manufactures male circumcision kits and has become one of the leaders in South Africa having supplied Government institutions, Medical Wholesalers,Doctors and various NGO's.
